About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at A-1 Cash and Carry. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our sales staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Sales Staff: Provide guidance and support to our sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Allocate sales tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure that all areas of the store are covered and that sales goals are met.
  • Manage Sales Floor: Oversee the sales floor, ensuring that it is well-organized and that customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Monitor Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering merchandise and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and productive team environment, providing feedback and coaching to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment or wholesale establishment/store.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
