About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide outstanding customer experiences at our events. You will play a vital role in ensuring that guests feel welcomed, valued, and well-cared for throughout their time on campus.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up service areas, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Manage inventory of food and beverage items, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by serving food and beverages promptly and courteously.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to all relevant regulations and University policies.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service is paramount.
• A valid Smartserve Certification is required (training may be provided).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
