Key Responsibilities

  • Complete final breakdown of events, including cleaning the event space, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas, adhering to Marriott International's high standards.
  • Transport dirty linens to the correct area for cleaning, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum service to guests, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • No supervisory experience required, but a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the success of the team.
  • No license or certification required, but a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
