Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant Gravenhurst.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-10 people. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. A uniform will be provided.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:The Food Service Supervisor will work 32-40 hours per week.
