Position Summary:
If you have a passion for fostering the growth of others, consider this opportunity within our HR Corporate Learning and Development team as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant.
In this capacity, you will ensure a superior learning experience by managing the complete program service delivery, from initial consultation and facilitation to post-session support, including administration of the Contact Learning system and processes. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of Intact's leaders and employees, as well as our business development and brokerage channels. We are seeking two candidates who possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. One position will focus on program delivery in English, while the other will cater to French language program delivery. This role is ideal for a dedicated Learning and Development professional with a background in HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate both virtual and in-person workshops.
- Manage tasks related to the entire facilitation cycle, including Workday Learning administration.
- Consult with learners, business units, and HR partners to conduct needs assessments and gap analyses, providing relevant learning solutions and post-session support.
- Create a safe and effective learning environment through proactive measures before, during, and after training sessions.
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to align with current learning needs and organizational priorities.
- Review and incorporate feedback from learning data to improve the quality of the learning experience.
- Update Workday Learning, including program creation and management tasks such as updates, course closures, and attendance tracking.
- Ensure timely access to learning materials for participants.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and consulting for Workday Learning.
- Collaborate with the national team to implement learning priorities and achieve L&D objectives.
- Act as an ambassador for the Learning and Development Team, promoting Intact as a leading employer.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Adult Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in leadership consulting, coaching, or equivalent roles.
- Bilingualism in French and English is essential for candidates located in Quebec due to regular interactions with English-speaking colleagues.
- Ability to challenge conventional approaches to create a top-tier learning experience.
- Commitment to a continuous learning mindset that is energetic, innovative, and adaptable.
- Experience in conducting learning needs analyses to support leadership facilitation and business strategy.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet various deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and urgency.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Workday is preferred.
- Willingness to adjust working hours and travel as needed.
