Position Overview

The role of the Cleaning Supervisor at Jit's Building Maintenance is essential for ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Conditions may include wet or damp surfaces.
  • Dusty environments may be encountered.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train cleaning personnel or facilitate their training.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff.
  • Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Propose or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to cleaning operations.
  • Assist cleaning staff in executing their duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for cleaning staff.
Physical Requirements
  • This position is physically demanding.
  • It involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Tasks may require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
