About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Director to join our team at the Nunavut Housing Corporation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the corporation's policy direction and ensuring that our programs and services align with the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the corporation's mission and goals
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on policy-related matters
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address policy gaps and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant policy developments and trends, and provide recommendations for how they may impact the corporation
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, law, or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a policy-related role, preferably in a government or non-profit organization
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
