The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Policy and Planning Division, you will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and managing strategic planning, policies, and procedures for the Nunavut Housing Corporation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review guidelines, policies, and legislation
- Produce high-quality briefing materials for senior officials
- Support the Director, Policy and Strategic Planning in assessing proposed policies and programs
- Liaise with national, provincial, and territorial governments, Inuit organizations, and other housing stakeholders
- Master's degree in a field such as Social Sciences, Communications, Economics, Business, or Public Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and analyzing public policy and programs
- Experience in a large organization or government setting, as well as experience supervising and leading work assignments
