Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

Momentum Developmental Support Corporation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and supervision to clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Assist clients with special needs, including accompanying them to appointments and social outings
  • Resolve conflict situations and promote a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Own vehicle
Work Environment:

As a Developmental Service Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure. You must be physically demanding and able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). You will also be required to work under the supervision of 1 to 2 people.
