About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Momentum Developmental Support Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to clients with special needs in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Assist clients with special needs, such as mobility and communication support.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting independence and community integration.
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide emotional support to clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment, providing support to clients in a group home setting. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will be required to work under pressure and be physically demanding at times.

What We Offer

  • 12 to 40 hours bi-weekly.
