About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Desktop Support Engineering team to deliver high-quality technical support services to our employees.
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical solutions to improve our IT services and support processes.
  • Act as a liaison between our business stakeholders, site IT, and global IT functions to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, and act as a mentor to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Participate in technology initiatives and projects to improve our IT services and support processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of our systems and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or professional training/certifications related to IT or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on desktop support and technical services.
  • Experience with Windows-based and Mac-based workstations, as well as network protocols and hardware.
  • Strong understanding of automation and scripting, with experience in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes, such as ServiceNow and ITIL.
