About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Sukhdev Restaurant Inc. as a Sales Supervisor. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
    • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train or arrange for the training of staff members.
    • Authorize payments by cheque and oversee payroll administration.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise.
    • Establish work schedules and oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Customer Service
    • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.
    • Use manual dexterity and attention to detail in daily tasks.
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking in the work environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate accurate and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Show judgement and ability to multitask.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
    • Ability to work in English.
