Job Summary:

Cad Railway Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of rail equipment at our Willowbrook facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our locomotives and passenger coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of unionized maintenance employees to ensure the completion of maintenance work on time and within schedule.
• Conduct job and safety briefings, investigate safety incidents, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Make responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel matters, including allocation of resources and customer service issues.
• Participate in meetings with staff, management, and customers to discuss operational matters and provide input on complex technical issues.
• Act as a supervisory point of contact for customer issues related to equipment maintenance and investigate, consolidate information, and prepare comprehensive reports.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience supervising in a rail maintenance environment or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and solve complex technical issues.
• Impeccable ethics and integrity, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance, work order, parts management, and scheduling techniques.
• Ability to build strong rapport with operations teams and unionized maintenance personnel.
