Job Title: LTO Educational Assistant

We are seeking a qualified Educational Assistant to support our students in a long-term substitute capacity.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide educational support to students with special needs, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including academic and behavioral support
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
  • Support students with physical and emotional needs, including lifting and positioning
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma in a child-related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with students with special needs and behavioral disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
