Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer or technical support with expertise in client-focused application support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support for software applications used by stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution of support issues.
  • Follow established procedures and assist development staff in resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of software applications, including Oracle, Unix/Linux, Java, and XML web applications.
  • Utilize helpdesk ticketing systems to track and resolve support issues.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in customer or technical support with expertise in client-focused application support.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and experience with Oracle, Unix/Linux, Java, and XML web applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and ability to work flexible shifts for off-hours support.
  • Degree in computer systems or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Iguana and Jasper Reports.
