About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Restaurant ICHI GO ICHI E. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu items that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning guests.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage kitchen expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Ranks of Chefs: Pastry Chef
  • Cuisine Specialties: Japanese cuisine
  • Area of Work Experience: Manager
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English or French
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
