Job Summary:

The Sous Chef will provide support to the Executive Chef in the preparation and implementation of daily menus, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Lead the culinary team in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service and high-quality dishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
