We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our Mental Health and Addictions Intake team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing priorities of the portfolio by supporting the ongoing development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives.
The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Provincial Manager of Intake and the Provincial Clinical Practice Lead to implement initiatives that support standardization and advancement of person-centered services within each of the Zones of Nova Scotia Health.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in healthcare and leadership, with experience in mental health and addictions care delivery systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in health or a related field, and be eligible for registration with a relevant health or professional discipline.
The successful candidate will have strong human resource management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective collaborative relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives
- Work closely with the Provincial Manager of Intake and the Provincial Clinical Practice Lead to implement initiatives that support standardization and advancement of person-centered services
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure effective and efficient delivery of quality client-centered care
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address budgetary pressures and develop mitigation strategies
Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive salary range of $38.78 - $51.53 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
