About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our Mental Health and Addictions Intake Leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing priorities of the portfolio by supporting the ongoing development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives. This role will ensure the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal, and material resources in the delivery of quality client-centered care.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in healthcare and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in health or a related field, be eligible for registration with a relevant health or professional discipline, and have 3-5 years of recent and related progressive leadership experience. Experience in Mental Health and Addictions is an asset. The successful candidate will possess strong working knowledge of mental health/addictions care delivery systems in hospital and community settings, as well as evidence of commitment to a healthy workplace and the use of best practices in building/sustaining staff competencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of assigned MHA Intake program services and initiatives
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal, and material resources in the delivery of quality client-centered care
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and maintain effective relationships and partnerships
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Identify and report budgetary pressures and assist in identifying mitigation strategies
