Waste Management Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Waste Management Assistant based out of Truro, NS.

About the Role:

This is a full-time and/or part-time opportunity to work with a stable and growing company with numerous divisions across Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload waste materials under varying traffic and road conditions
  • Collect garbage and recycling materials from residential properties
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to lift 40lbs independently
  • Previous waste and/or recycling experience is considered an asset
