Job Summary

The University Health Network is seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide critical support to our clinical scheduling and operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Scheduling and Operations
    • Coordinate departmental clinical scheduling and administrative activities to ensure seamless patient care delivery
    • Provide administrative support to the deputy site head and anesthesia program leads
  • Administrative Support
    • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the office
    • Provide support with financial activities, including budgeting and financial reporting
    • Assist with special projects, as assigned and/or requested
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with departmental staff, physicians, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Qualifications
    • At minimum, completion of a 2-year community college program in health care administration or recognized equivalent
    • Business, organization, or management training at the college or university level, preferred
    • At minimum over 4 years up to and include 6 years practical and related experience and/or 2 years on the job training required
    • Previous on-the-job computer/word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience required
    • Experience in a Microsoft Office environment required
    • Excellent organization and time management skills required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    • Ability to produce high quality and accurate work in accordance with Hospital standards required
    • Ability to work independently and as a team player required
