As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist at Les Jardins d'Évangéline inc, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our culinary environment. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that ensure our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
- Sanitation Duties: Clean and sanitize various kitchen items, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers effectively to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Storage Management: Place cleaned dishes in designated storage areas.
- Hand Washing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other kitchen items manually as needed.
- Cleaning Responsibilities: Scour pots and pans, and maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Product Handling: Handle and store cleaning products safely.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
- Physical Demands: This position involves handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks.
