Position Overview

Waterline Resources Inc. is seeking a dedicated Environmental Geoscience Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on environmental sustainability.

Work Details

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field
Work Environment
  • Site Conditions: Outdoor settings, including industrial and commercial areas
  • Location: Urban, rural, and remote areas
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and audits.
  • Lead and manage survey initiatives and programs.
  • Design strategies to mitigate adverse environmental impacts from resource extraction activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining organized filing and record systems.
  • Create detailed notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross-sectional diagrams.
  • Assist in hydrogeological fieldwork and laboratory analyses.
  • Oversee the completion and evaluation of well projects, including testing and surveys.
  • Investigate groundwater flow and contamination issues.
  • Engage in research and technical analysis of geological data.
  • Plan and execute analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
  • Implement procedures for the remediation of contaminated sites.
Supervisory Role

Supervise water well drilling teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications
  • Certification from a recognized provincial or territorial association.
  • Proficient in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GPS technology.
Technical Skills
  • Experience in geological sampling and soil analysis.
  • Knowledge of industrial operations and maintenance.
  • Expertise in environmental monitoring and data interpretation.
