About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team at Koprich Paralegal Services. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers in the preparation and prosecution of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support
    • Advise clients on intellectual property matters and represent clients before the Registrar of Trade-Marks
    • Advise clients on legal proceedings and provide guidance on their rights and obligations
  • Document Preparation
    • Assemble documentary evidence in preparation for trial and ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Draft contracts, prepare promissory notes, and draw up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents
  • Administrative Support
    • Co-ordinate administrative services, including scheduling court trials and arranging pre-trial conferences and hearings
    • Assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions
  • Research and Analysis
    • Research records, court files, and other legal documents to provide accurate and up-to-date information
    • Analyze data and provide recommendations to lawyers on legal matters
  • Communication
    • Interview clients, witnesses, and other related parties to gather information and provide guidance
    • Explain rights and obligations to defendants and provide support throughout the legal process
  • Record Keeping
    • Record court commencement, trial proceedings, and judgments
    • Oversee maintenance of judicial court records and ensure accuracy and completeness
