ALUS Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to engaging agricultural producers in implementing nature-based solutions, such as wetlands, grasslands, and forests, on their properties to enhance climate resilience and promote biodiversity for the benefit of communities and future generations.

ALUS provides a unique, community-driven program in Canada that offers long-term financial and technical assistance to farmers and ranchers for the sustainable management of their projects.

ALUS relies on partnerships with government entities, corporations, and philanthropic foundations to invest in ALUS Nature & Climate Solutions, generating positive environmental, economic, and social outcomes for communities.

Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and engaging corporate sponsors and investors while supporting market development activities related to ALUS Nature & Climate Solutions—ALUS' suite of investment, sponsorship, and donor solutions.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in sales, marketing, or fundraising, possessing a solid understanding of current trends in corporate sustainability, nature-related financial disclosures, and the ESG (environmental, social, governance) landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development:
Create and execute strategies to identify, cultivate, and maintain enduring corporate investment partnerships. Develop persuasive pitch proposals tailored to the specific needs of corporate prospects, including C-Suite executives.

Market Awareness:
Stay informed about corporate sustainability and ESG trends, adjusting engagement strategies and tactics as necessary.

Data Management:
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of prospect and opportunity records in Salesforce.

Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and provide informed recommendations on aligning product offerings with market demand.


Marketing Initiatives:
Actively participate in implementing the ALUS Nature & Climate Solutions marketing strategy.

Educational Background:

A degree from a recognized university or equivalent, specializing in business, sales, marketing, fundraising, or a related field.


Networking Skills:
Strong networking and partnership-building abilities, supported by a proven track record of developing effective business relationships.

Project Coordination:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meeting requirements and deadlines. Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and confidence in budget management are essential.

Proposal Development:
Experience in crafting funding proposals, developing and delivering pitch presentations, and reporting on outcomes.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) or fundraising tools, along with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Language Proficiency:
Bilingualism in English and French is considered a significant asset.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday; 35 hours per week, remote.

Occasional evening or weekend work, as well as travel for fieldwork or in-person team meetings, may be required.
