TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Security and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting safety and compliance within our company and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and proposing measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and analyze performance reports to detect emerging trends among high-risk drivers and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the local health and safety committee to create a safe and compliant work environment.
- Provide training and development programs for employees on safety, security, and compliance topics.
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and seminars to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Canadian and American road regulations, including CVOR and USDOT.
- Experience in managing hazardous materials would be an asset.
- Excellent understanding of cargo securing methods and vehicle configurations.
- Advanced skills in using commercial software, such as Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in safety, driver training, and/or as a owner-operator would be beneficial.
