Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage security teams to ensure they follow company policies and procedures.
  2. Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to new guards, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and emergency protocols.
  3. Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access systems for breaches or suspicious activity.
  4. Patrols and Visibility: Regularly patrol premises to deter security threats and maintain visibility.
  5. Emergency Response: Create and share response plans for fires, emergencies, and breaches, and manage emergency responses to prioritize the safety of staff and property.
  6. Reporting and Record Keeping: Document incidents accurately and promptly, maintaining detailed logs and records of daily tasks and incidents.
  7. Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to address security needs and concerns, and keep them informed about security operations and incidents.
  8. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate guards' performance, offering feedback and improvement areas, and identify training needs and growth opportunities for security staff.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure security practices adhere to legal requirements and industry standards, and stay current with security-related laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
  • Knowledge of security systems and equipment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duty
