Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely and efficient food preparation and service.

Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Staff Supervision and Development

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory, sales, and operational performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Personal Qualities

Flexibility, team player, and strong communication skills.
