Swim Instructor Opportunity at Goldfish Swim School

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School in Burlington, ON. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching children of all ages and skill levels how to swim, while ensuring their safety and well-being in and around the water.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
  • Interact with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and address any concerns they may have
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and techniques
Requirements:
  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or NL certification
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED certification
  • Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lessons is an asset
