Job Summary:

As a Swim Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising our team of swim instructors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of swim instructors to deliver swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Ensure the implementation of our swim program, including lesson planning, instructor training, and student assessment.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for students, instructors, and staff, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, retention, and overall swimming experience.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and staff development.
  • Conduct regular observations and feedback sessions with instructors to ensure high-quality teaching practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in swim instruction and program management.

Requirements:

  • Current Lifesaving Society - National Lifeguard Certification.
  • Aquatics Supervisor Trained - AST Certification.
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED.
  • Previous experience in swim instruction, program management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
