About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team at Garden City Kosher Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with care and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Work environment: Fast-paced, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail.
