About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced baker to join our team at Saint Germain Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes and special customer orders
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Train and assist staff members
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
