Accounting Supervisor Job Description

Craft Cannabis Copacking Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Coordinate: Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure smooth operation of equipment and resources.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accuracy of financial transactions, manage budgets, and make financial decisions to support business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Great Plains (GP), Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Screening Questions: Answer the following questions: Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? What is the highest level of study you have completed?
