Role Summary

As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and clinical programs at Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged. Your leadership will ensure that residents receive optimal care tailored to their individual needs.

This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise the delivery of care and services, ensuring that residents receive timely and appropriate support from qualified caregivers.
  • Uphold the standards of quality care set forth by Pioneer Ridge, ensuring compliance in all operational areas.
  • Collaborate with Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address the diverse needs of residents.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with RPNs, providing guidance and support as needed, particularly in complex care situations.
  • Contribute to the strategic goals of Pioneer Ridge, aligning resident care and services with the organization's mission and values.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Must possess a current and unrestricted certificate of competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in Long Term Care or gerontology is essential.
  • Maintain a valid certificate of registration (general class) from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
