The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and clinical programs at Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing and includes the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the provision of care and services to all residents, ensuring they receive appropriate care at the right time and from qualified caregivers.
- Uphold the standards of quality care established by Pioneer Ridge in all aspects of service delivery.
- Collaborate with Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
- Facilitate collaborative practices with RPNs, providing consultation and stepping in to manage care as needed.
- Contribute to the achievement of Pioneer Ridge's strategic objectives related to quality care and services, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Valid and unrestricted certificate of competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Experience in Long Term Care or gerontology is preferred.
- Must maintain registration (general class) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
