Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at MALWA TIRES & SERVICES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the operations team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
  • Procedure Review and Evaluation: Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  • Work Prioritization and Delegation: Establish work priorities and delegate tasks to office support staff as needed.
  • Administrative Activities: Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Policy Administration: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain financial controls.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new procedures and policies as needed.
  • Office Administration: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including payroll administration.
  • Budget Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, ability to multitask, and time management.
