Your Role: We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to provide operational support to our sales teams at our Montreal office. The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring successful coordination and execution of freight movement across North America and beyond according to our clients' needs. You will learn the necessary skills to work in the transportation industry using our exclusive technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and carriers
  • Coordinate transportation operations, including dispatching, tracking, and scheduling orders
  • Negotiate costs and select carriers for OTR, IMDL, and LTL transportation
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents and records
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and carriers
  • Perform minor accounting and administrative tasks
  • Enter data accurately and maintain records

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of logistics/transportation experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
  • Knowledge of cross-border transportation between the US, Mexico, and Canada, including various types of truckload transportation
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills
  • Outgoing personality with high energy and flexibility
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
