JOB TITLE: Logistics Operations Specialist at Traffic Tech

Your Responsibilities: We are on the lookout for a seasoned logistics expert to deliver operational assistance to our sales teams at our Montreal, QC office. The Logistics Operations Specialist will be accountable for the seamless coordination and implementation of freight movement throughout North America and beyond, tailored to our clients' specifications. You will acquire essential skills to thrive in the transportation sector by utilizing our proprietary technology. Our rapidly expanding company continuously seeks enthusiastic individuals committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Duties Include:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with suppliers
- Oversee transportation operations (dispatching, tracking, scheduling shipments)
- Negotiate pricing and select carriers (OTR, IMDL, and LTL)
- Prepare necessary shipping documentation
- Engage professionally and effectively with clients and carriers
- Execute minor accounting responsibilities
- Accurately input data
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics/transportation, ideally within a 3PL context
- Familiarity with cross-border transportation between the US, Mexico, and Canada, including various truckload transportation types
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous
- High school diploma
- Experience in customer service
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple tasks
- Professional phone communication skills
- Outgoing demeanor with high energy and adaptability
- Positive mindset and a strong work ethic
