Job Summary
New York University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to provide administrative support for Operations, Academic Programs, and Student Services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Director, Student Services and Administration, to ensure the effective delivery of a first-rate study abroad experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including maintaining office supplies inventory, organizing purchases, and liaising with external vendors.
- Assist with academic program support, including setting up course folders, uploading syllabuses, and arranging field trips.
- Support student programming and events, including assisting with student arrival and departure, preparing weekly communications, and participating in conferences and meetings.
- Manage online student resources, update visitor guides and student handbooks, and maintain NYU Sydney Google calendars and Drive.
Requirements
- Must possess legal entitlement to live and work in Australia.
- Must possess or be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Should have experience in the international education sector.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an office administration role.
- Ability to learn and excel in a broad range of duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent intercultural and interpersonal communications skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
