We are in search of a highly inquisitive and dynamic leader to assume the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Medical.

In this pivotal position, you will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive risk management framework across the organization, enabling Conexus to strategically define its risk appetite and effectively manage risks to safeguard and generate value.

Your role will be crucial in establishing and implementing a robust control environment, providing essential oversight at the enterprise level, particularly in critical areas such as cybersecurity, retail non-lending, and business continuity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and directing Enterprise Risk Management strategies with a focus on member requirements, aligned with Conexus' core mission.
  • Collaborating with the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, the Management Risk Committee, and the Board's Risk Committee to delineate and establish risk appetite.
  • Creating and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to facilitate ongoing identification, assessment, management, and communication of risks.
  • Developing processes for overseeing risk management functions and providing constructive challenges to practices and decisions.
  • Guiding and influencing risk owners throughout the organization to ensure alignment with the risk appetite and ERM Framework.

Operational Risk:
Providing clear and concise operational policies and procedures for retail non-lending activities, enabling the Risk Advisory team to offer guidance, advice, and coaching to retail teams.

Business Continuity Management:
Maintaining and enhancing a comprehensive business continuity management program, facilitating oversight by relevant committees, and ensuring effective management of cyber risk across the organization.

Your ability to cultivate strong relationships will be instrumental in aligning resources and executing initiatives that enhance risk management.

Qualifications:
~ A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in risk management.
~ A graduate degree in commerce or business administration.
~ An MBA, CPA, CFA, or Risk Management designation is considered advantageous.
~ Compensation range: $125,150 - $178,780 with a 21% Short Term Incentive Target.
~ The success of our members is deeply intertwined with the performance of our employees, which includes preferred rates for banking services.
~ 7% pension matching after one year of employment.
