Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Risk Management
- Formulating and directing Enterprise Risk Management initiatives with a focus on stakeholder needs, aligned with GatedTalent's mission.
- Collaborating with the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, the Management Risk Committee, and the Board's Risk Committee to articulate and establish risk appetite and fulfill relevant responsibilities as outlined in various governance documents.
- Designing and sustaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to facilitate ongoing identification, evaluation, management, and communication of risks while systematically measuring them against the defined risk appetite.
- Establishing processes for managing risk oversight functions and providing constructive challenge to practices and decisions, ensuring alignment with regulations, risk appetite, and strategic objectives.
- By fostering collaboration, partnerships, and training, guide and influence risk owners across the organization to align with the risk appetite, ERM Framework, and effective risk management through GatedTalent's control environment.
- Through the Manager of Risk Advisory, providing clear and concise operational policies and procedures to define and guide retail non-lending activities, ensuring effective risk management while balancing member service and regulatory compliance.
- Empowering the Risk Advisory team to offer guidance, advice, and coaching to retail teams in executing complex and unusual member transactions.
- Ensuring appropriate risk transfer by effectively placing enterprise insurance policies based on collaborative assessments with risk owners, regulatory requirements, and evolving strategies.
- Developing and enhancing a comprehensive business continuity management program, including governance, frameworks, playbooks, escalation protocols, and business impact assessments.
- Holding stakeholders accountable for meeting business continuity requirements while collaborating to improve user experience.
- Facilitating business continuity management oversight by the Business Continuity Management Steering Committee, the Management Risk Committee, and the Board's Risk Committee.
- Providing leadership and guidance to continuity teams and the organization during disruption events.
- Through the Manager of Information and Cyber Security, ensuring effective oversight of cyber risk across the organization in alignment with current and future business strategies.
- Promoting continuous improvement in cyber security practices across the enterprise, adhering to formal frameworks and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information and systems.
- Evaluating risks and providing constructive challenge over operational practices and decisions that influence cyber security risks.
- Facilitating cyber security risk oversight by the Management Risk Committee and the Board of Directors.

Qualifications- 10 years of experience in the financial services sector.
- 5 years of senior leadership experience in risk management.
- Graduate degree in commerce or business administration.
- Professional designations such as MBA, Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, or Risk Management certification are considered assets.
- A relevant combination of experience and education may be considered.
$125,150 – $178,780 with a 21% Short Term Incentive Target.
