About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Broker Development Specialist to join our team at HUB Financial Inc. in Halifax, NS.

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance insurance operations by supporting brokers and educating them on HUB's services and offerings. As a Broker Development Specialist, you will promote HUB's tools and programs while building and strengthening broker relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regional sales in all lines of Insurance, including life, living benefits, and personal health products.
  • Strengthen and build strong advisor relationships.
  • Act as the first point of contact for pre-sales inquiries.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to brokers on how to prospect efficiently using HUB Masterworks programs.
  • Efficiently provide recommendations on various products, complete comparisons, and carrier options based on Advisor requests.
  • Actively review cases with our Advisors and present them with the most suitable solutions using illustration platform.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the life and insurance industry.
  • Completion of the LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is mandatory.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication capabilities.
  • Possess a positive demeanor, a steadfast commitment to assisting others, inquisitiveness, and a track record of delivering consistent performance.
  • Proficiency in training and mentoring others in prospecting for new business and establishing efficient sales methodologies.
  • Exceptional proficiency in time management, organizational prowess, and prioritization skills.
  • Hands-on experience with the MS Office Suite and proficiency in navigating various online meeting platforms.
  • Exhibit a strong inclination and readiness to pursue further industry education to foster career growth at HUB.
