About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ashcroft Grocery Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing of our products.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting and selling our products to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including the sales floor and stockroom.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Work Setting: Confectionery/corner store or supermarket/grocery store environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
