Stewarding/Dishwashing Attendant Job Description

Are you looking to start your career in the Food & Beverage industry? This role will provide you with the start you need to help grow your career while enjoying a work-life balance and all the great activities living in Banff brings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial dishwashers to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Wash glassware and other items by hand to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment lines to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including recycling and trash removal.
  • Ensure floors and work areas are clean, dry, clear of hazards and obstructions.
  • Follow and adhere to ALLSAFE health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
  • Exposure to kitchen equipment, sounds, fumes, chemicals, working in hot, humid & cold environments.
  • Passionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environment.
