Position Summary

The Nursing Practicum Placement Coordinator plays a vital role within the Nursing Practicum Coordination Office team. Collaborating closely with the Manager of the NPCO, this position is responsible for facilitating the organization and oversight of student practicum placements across various nursing programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse with The College of Nurses of Ontario
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in the nursing field
  • Proficient in database management and data analysis
  • Preferred experience in community-based and acute care settings
  • Experience supervising nursing students in clinical practicum environments is advantageous
Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
Compensation Information:

The compensation structure includes a salary grid with opportunities for annual adjustments, along with a Performance-Based Recognition Award.
