Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wellness Home Healthcare Services. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Tasks: Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment, as well as performing other duties related to patient care and comfort.
- Assessment and Documentation: Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and maintain accurate records of their care.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available for patient care.
- Transportation: Transport patients between care facilities, as well as in wheelchairs or stretchers, as needed.
- Communication: Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond promptly to their requests.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity required.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional care and attention to clients' needs.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
