About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Logbook and Reporting: Accurately complete logbooks and reports, documenting client interactions, medication administration, and other relevant information.
  • Supervision: Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn, with a strong desire to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing client needs.
