About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wellness Home Healthcare Services. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain physical and mental well-being.
