About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Blessing Home Care and Group Home Ltd. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to different locations, using your own vehicle or public transportation.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work Conditions: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending. You must be physically able to perform the duties of the job and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be punctual, client-focused, flexible, organized, and reliable.
