Position Overview: Insurance Account Management Representative

This position serves as an Administrative Support Role that includes customer service responsibilities and is not suitable for full-time students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange appointments, assess customer needs, and promote suitable products and services.
  • Deliver prompt, precise, and friendly customer service, which may involve addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the agent to achieve marketing and office objectives.
  • Assist the sales team in fostering office growth.
  • Conduct outbound calls to clients to schedule appointments and promote available products.

  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to present information to potential clients.
  • Property & Casualty license (preferred; must be obtained).

Compensation: The total compensation range is $43,000 to $47,000. Base salary is dependent on experience, with opportunities to earn commissions and bonuses in the future.

Work Schedule:

  • 7-8 hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday.

This position is with an independent contractor agent who is part of the Desjardins Exclusive Agent network. It is not affiliated with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Employees of the agent are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all decisions regarding their employees.

Obtaining an OTL/General Insurance license is a requirement upon starting employment.

Please note that a clean background check and clean credit history are required.
